Preparing God's Word for your heart
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
Isaiah 40:8
Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee.
The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.
God hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.
The first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, . . . came Jesus and stood in the midst. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
After eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Then saith [Jesus] to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. Thomas . . . said, My Lord and my God.
Unto us a Son is given: the mighty God.
Let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.—I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.
Ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.—Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you.—Ye . . . are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
The heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
Thus saith the Lord , The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool.
Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth! Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!
Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts.
I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
