Daily Light on the Daily PathMorning β€’ January 5

They weary themselves to commit iniquity.β€”I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.β€”Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Daily Light on the Daily PathEvening β€’ February 16

Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee . . . Mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Daily Light on the Daily PathMorning β€’ June 13

I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
