I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Bless the Lord , ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Bless ye the Lord , all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him.
Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire: mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.βThy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart.βI sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.βI have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.βMy meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
