Daily Light on the Daily PathEvening β€’ November 29

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? Faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead.

Daily Light on the Daily PathMorning β€’ December 22

This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.β€”Faith worketh by love.β€”He that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.β€”We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.β€”Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
