I C 11: 5And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, You shall not come in here. But David took the stronghold of Zion, which is [now] the city of David.
I C 11: 7So David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore they called it the city of David.
II  23: 14Now at that time David was in the stronghold; and the garrison of the Philistines was at that time in Bethlehem.
I S 23: 29And David went up from there and remained in the strongholds of En-gedi.
I C 11: 16Now at that time David was in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was in Bethlehem at that time.
