Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.βRemember Lot's wife.
Men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.
Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye: for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, . . . or as a busybody in other men's matters.
