Beloved, now are we the sons of God; . . . it doth not appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.βAs we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of heavenly.
The Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ; . . . shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.βNo man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.βHe that hath seen me hath seen the Father.βThe brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person.βGod was manifest in the flesh.
