Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.—Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.—An high priest . . . holy, harmless, undefiled.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.—Abhor that which is evil.—Abstain from all appearance of evil.—Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
