Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.βO Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
Peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come.βThe peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.βPeace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
